Michael packed up the car for quilting on
Thursday (7/21) before taking Cookie for a walk. I headed to quilting and ended up having
blackberry cobbler for breakfast! One of
the quilters had picked a bunch and made a cobbler to share….it was yummy….not
too much sugar so you could really taste the fruit. We also had a guest at quilting. A local writer is doing her fifth book and
she wants some scenes of quilters, so she came to observe and make notes…too
cool. June & Debra also started
teaching their free motion quilting class…this will be on-going every month and
many people seemed very excited about it.
As usual, when I got home I took a quick nap, then got sucked into a
library book again :~). It was pizza for dinner with the leftover
dough and the rest of the tomatoes….
|
I decided to chiffonade the basil |
|
and dice the tomatoes |
|
lots of cheese |
|
OMgoodness!!! |
|
look at all of those tomatoes!!! |
I parbaked the crust this time before
topping it and Michael pronounced it OUTSTANDING!!! I talked with Janice for over an hour after
dinner (no SKYPING as tablet is broken and we moved our talk to Thursday night
due to other commitments on Wednesdays) and I will by in Connecticut in
TWENTY-FIVE days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After
that it was a little bit of TV watching before bed….kind of a lazy day craft
wise.
