I
had a lot to do in the morning Saturday (4/30) including finishing Michael’s
yoghurt:
|
started last night in crockpot |
|
incubating overnight |
|
fruit on the bottom |
|
yoghurt |
|
homemade jam on top for sweetness! |
I can't believe how much cheaper this is than store bought yoghurt....with a tiny bit of work involved. And it is WORLD"S cheaper than the soy yoghurt we used to buy due to Michael's lactose intolerance.
I didn’t get back to Sandy’s
quilt until around NOON. I have been
unhappy in the past with the “map” in my quilting software that shows what row
you are on. It is in a very faint gray
color, it is 1 inch by 1 inch diagram and it is very hard to count to see what
row is showing….well, that trait finally bit me in the behind :~(. I did 5 rows of the quilt last night, and
THOUGHT I had advanced it this morning to row 6. The row was almost 3/4 of the way done
stitching before I noticed that my row-to-row nesting was WAY off. Many, many hours, severely cramped hands and
almost nine THOUSAND stitches later, I was finally all ripped out and ready to
give it a go again. I never ate dinner
(just some popcorn Michael made while watching his movie), and finally got 2
rows put back in by 9:30 PM. I headed
upstairs and just sat quietly and read my book until bed.
Do you ever sit loudly ??? ;) Real bummer on the stitching. Wish I was there to help you rip...and now I hear Miss Nancy !
