*****************************

It was a sad Monday morning (8/31) as my honey got rained out of golf….so he went to the grocery store for me instead!  I headed to my studio, determined to get a final count and everything cut to finish off the 48 string blocks I need.  I counted these numerous times….but I must have been drunk or spaced out….because I came up with too few….and not by just one or 2.  It is making me crazy that I have to dig out all of my fabric again….because I put each bolt away as I cut it.

Anyway, that was what I worked on all day Monday along with 2 new embroideries:

until just before 5 PM when Michael and I took Cookie to the vet for her routine yearly checkup.  We saw a rainbow on the way, but by the time I got to the vet and could take a pic, it had faded quite a bit:

We still had some tomatoes left from Loree and some bacon left from Sunday, so we had BLT’s for dinner and they were SCRUMPTIOUS!!!  I did  little more work in my studio before collapsing with my honey.

And a FB funny: Well, I'm in the hospital again. This has not been a good day. After spending the last 5 months quarantined inside the house, limited contact with my family or friends since March ......enough is enough. So I decided to go for a horseback ride with a good friend. Something I haven't done for a long time. It turned out to be a horrible mistake! I got on the horse and I started out slowly, but then it got crazy windy. I went faster and faster and before I knew it, I was going as fast as that horse could go. I couldn't take the pace and fell off but caught my pants on the stirrup. I was being dragged and was bouncing all over the place. The horse just would not stop!

Thankfully the manager at Dollar General came running out and unplugged the machine. Then he actually had the nerve to take the rest of my quarters and my bottle of Vodka, so I wouldn't try to ride the damn fire truck or clown car.

I have a few scrapes and bruises but nothing's broken. I will wear a helmet next time.
