Another morning spent at the doctors…we left at 8 AM on Friday (12/8) to see our glaucoma specialist (who wants to see us every 4 months for now) and didn’t get home until just after 1 PM.  The good news is, my honey took me to Pizza Hut for lunch while we were out  :~).  I just LOVE the crust on their individual pan pizzas.  I fired up the oven when we got home to make Sugared Pecans, which filled up the remaining holes in the platter of candy I made for Michael to take to the cast for opening night:  

(He said they oo'ed and ahh'ed when he opened it and one of the cast members said 'I could just stand here in front of this candy all night  :~)'  I tweaked my secret blend of spices this year for my pecans and both Michael and I thought they smelled and tasted extra heavenly.  I got them all baked and bagged up before dinner:  

Michael had a quick dinner and left at 5 PM for OPENING NIGHT!!!!  I headed downstairs and spent the time talking on the phone to friends (Jan & Pat) and quilting and sewing.  I heard all about Opening Night when Michael got home at 10 PM as we sat in front of the fire sipping something warm  :~).
