I headed out at 7 AM on Wednesday
morning (11/15) to have a follow up appointment with a retinol specialist. I thought my eye was better, and luckily he
did too :~). After that I did some Christmas shopping and
grocery shopping before heading home around NOON. I spent the afternoon in my studio, getting
the program set up and bobbins wound for the bird quilt and starting the
stitch-out. Some quilts have challenges
and this is one of them. What that means
this time is…I have to watch every stitch….I can’t be working on anything else
while Miss Scarlett is working…so my productivity is a little off now :~). Usually I can piece of cut things while I'm still keeping my eye on the quilting, but not this time. My honey brought me a smurfy grilled ham/cheese sandwich to keep me
going:
I got more than 1/2 way done with
the quilting by 6 PM when I quit for the day.
I’ve been slowly working my way through the second patriotic and finally
finished the borders before heading upstairs:
One of the shows that Michael and I watch is MAJOR CRIMES. They had what I thought was a 3 part episode,
so we waited until we had taped all 3 parts and made popcorn and binge watched
them last night for our date night (no rehearsal…YAY!) The bad news is…..there’s a part 4 that we
have to wait 2 weeks to get!!! AND, we
were really sad to hear that this is the last season for MAJOR CRIMES. Other people get jobs and stick with them for
20 – 25 years….why can’t these guys!??!?
I spent a little bit of the evening before bed pulling together 8 quilts
for donation to Clinton…that’s it for this year:
