golf towel

Michael took Cookie for a walk first thing Friday morning (6/8), while I got my blog out, then headed out to breakfast with the ladies.  It was another fun morning and when I got home I did a variety of things.  Dolly stopped by to drop off a customer quilt and to talk.  Anne stopped by and we made good progress on creating an EXCEL spreadsheet to track her costs with the essential oils mixtures she is making.  Michael made another harvest in the garden:

And I spent quite a bit of time on an embroidery.  About a week ago Michael was out golfing with his usual foursome on Saturday.  One of the guys hit a ball and while he was watching it, it hit something and skewed way off to the side.  He thought it had hit a golf sign, and as they finally got closer they saw this:

Yep, his ball had bounced off of the back of a turtle!!!  Michael wanted a golfing towel to commemorate the moment, so I finally got that done yesterday....he'll give the towel out today.  We had leftovers for dinner and headed to Fort Mill Theatre to work concessions and the 50/50 raffle.  We were home just after 9 PM, so we poured ourselves a little aperitif, wound up our kinetic sculpture and relaxed and read our books for a couple of hours before bed.

Another picture of AJ....is it a sneeze?  Is it the wind?  Did a bird just dive bomb her?  Looks like we'll never know  :~).

  1. Too early in the morning reading this. Had to think what the kinetic sculpture was! And then light πŸ’‘ dawned on marble head! Wonder if the kitties joined you on the back of your chairs! AM143πŸΎπŸΎπŸ’œπŸ’œ
