humbug bags, hat, MTA awards

Sunday (10/6) was a wonderful day.  Michael got to relax and watch a bit of golf, and I headed to the studio and was very productive:

BG left her leftover door apron fabric, so I made a bunch of humbug bags for the craft fair.  I also finished aother charity hat Saturday night that I forgot to post:

Around 4 PM we started to get ready for the MTA awards ceremony:

Michael was nominated for ‘best cameo’ in THE SENATOR WIRE PANTYHOSE, but he didn’t win L.  On the other hand, we had a very enjoyable evening with the other theatre people at our table, but were glad to finally get home at 11:30.

Michael left early for golf on Monday (10/7), even thought it was overcast and raining on and off.  I had several ladies over for knitting and made morning glory muffins.  It was warm and cozy inside, even as it was overcast and rainy outside.  The sun came out by NOON and Michael came home, thrilled with his 81 on the course.  I worked in the studio a bit in the afternoon and evening, and Michael was very glad he didn’t have to go to rehearsal, as they were only doing act I and he isn’t in that.  We ended up staying up rather later to watch a bunch of FRASIER’s before bed.

  1. Such a lovely couple! I know how you love dressing up, and I have to say that color is marvelous on you, and the dapper escort ain't bad either. LOL I'm sorry to hear Michael did not win; I hope he gets another chance for an award for future roles.
