and I were up at 4 AM Thursday morning (4/18) to be in Charlotte for the first
surgical appointment of the day. Michael’s
eyelids were impacting his peripheral vision, so….wait for it…he had them
redacted :~).
We stopped for brunch at IHOP on the way home
and were home by NOON. We spent the rest
of the afternoon out on the lanair, napping and reading and putting frozen bags
of peas (finally, a GOOD use of peas!!) on his eyes. I ran to get Chinese for dinner and we spent
a quiet evening, watching TV and still applying the bags of peas.
June was a sweetheart and took pictures of
all of the show and tell at quilting and sent them to me, so you all get to
enjoy them (sorry, no captions as I simply don't have time this morning!):
