hydrangeas

We have a TON of beautiful blooms on our hydrangea plant, so Michael picked 2 huge bouquets and we delivered one to our neighbors across the street, Anne & Bryce and one to Jan, on Friday morning (6/10), before leaving to take Cookie on a walk:

 

 

 

I got cleaned up and headed to THE HAVEN to sit with Jan and Walt for most of the day.  Walt is fading fast and Jan wanted some company, so I took some knitting (she wanted something to do, and asked for a simple knitting pattern, so I took bulky weight yarn for a simple garter scarf) and we talked and talked.  I got home in time to get cleaned up and we picked up Susan & Jim and headed into Charlotte.  We had dinner at MAM RICOTTA’S and then headed to Actors Theatre for the last play in their old theatre.  The play was called STAGE KISS and it was VERY convoluted and funny.  We were home by 11 PM and read for just a little bit before heading to bed.
