We were up at o’dark hundred again on Tuesday (8/18) for Michael’s second cataract surgery….and that took up most of the day.  Everything went well at the hospital and we stopped for breakfast on the way home.  Once home both of us decided to take a nap.  By the time Michael woke up, he had a large, purple spot, right in the middle of his vision that prevented him from seeing anything.  We took off early for the afternoon follow-up appointment and after a flurry of activity, Michael’s vision began to clear.  It seems that the pressure had really built up in his eye and this caused him to lose that large patch of sight.  Once the pressure was released…all was well …WHEW!!!!  We got home and had Papa Murphy’s pizza for dinner (red sauce with mushrooms & spinach…Michael got to choose since he was the invalid :~) then Larry picked him up to go and see THE MAN FROM UNCLE, and Sally came by to solve the problems of the world.
