sandwich bread, cookies

Michael left for golf Saturday morning (3/9) and was NOT happy with his score when he got home  L.  I spent the morning in the kitchen, pulling together sandwich bread:

and chocolate chip cookies that Michael and I both had a craving for :

Donna stopped by for a tiny bit of help with her sweater and ended up taking home 1/2 a loaf of warm bread for her trouble  J.  I continued to work on the baby blanket for the rest of the day and night.  Michael made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner, and we relaxed in the evening.

Sunday morning (3/10) I made pancakes for breakfast.  Michael had a meeting about the golf course at 1:30 and when he came home, we both got cleaned up and dressed and headed for the Lake House for a TRIBUTE TO ABBA.  The show was WONDERFUL, and afterwards we headed to Andrea and Scott’s for dinner.  They had another couple there and it was a great dinner and a very pleasant evening.  We got home around 9 PM to see that Daniel had already arrived.  Daniel is one of the young golfers that stayed with us during a tournament in October.  He is in another tournament this week in Ballentyne and we invited him to stay with us.  We left him a key and he and Cookie were already getting re-acquainted when we got home.  We talked for a bit, watched a bit of TV and then headed for bed.
