a few more wings....

BG and I spent another full day on Tuesday (2/6) working on our project.  We got several more wings completed:  

but the most important thing is that we picked out our additional 3 colorways, and now have all of the patterns fused to those colors…an excellent stopping point.  We talked about how to continue, and were both in 100% agreement: we don’t want to work on the project alone, so the next time we are together (probably the Fiber Floozie retreat in November) we will work on it again.  But we also agreed that we don’t want to spend the entire retreat working on it….so it may be quite awhile until you see the finished wall hangings.  After a quick stop for dinner and a visit with Jan (who came over to share our PAP MURPHY’s pizza), we continued to work until after 8 PM when we finally collapsed and vegged for the remainder of the night.  Michael was out at the movies with Larry seeing TWELVE STRONG (review tomorrow).
