BG is
coming!!!!! BG is coming!!! Have I told you about this at all??? BG’s daughter Jennifer decided that she
wanted to drive to North Carolina to see her father graduate from college with degree
in Criminal Justice. Jennifer and BG are
talking about it one day and BG says ‘do you want company’? So, they arrange to drive down on Thursday
and back on Sunday. For some reason BG
decides to look at one way plane fairs, and finds a really cheap one out of Providence,
RI. So, she is coming TONIGHT!!!! (Wednesday, July 16th!!!!!) I will pick her up at the airport around 7:30
PM, and then sometime in the early morning hours of Sunday morning, I will
drive her several hours up to someplace in North Carolina, and she will ride in
the car home with Jennifer!!!!!

OK…..now
it’s 4 PM on Thursday…..BG came in at 8 PM last night and when we got home and
got everything lugged downstairs, we fired up the long arm. You will be SHOCKED to hear that … it didn’t
work L.
Two and one half hours later, it was 11:30 and we said many more bad
words and stumbled off to bed. This
morning we all had breakfast on the deck (it was BEAUTIFUL out) and then made a
quick grocery shopping/stopping at Chik-fil-a for peach milkshakes run before
heading back to the studio. We called
the store (of COURSE the long arm guy was not available)…so we ripped napkins
for 4 hours until he called back. And of
course….I had to call someone else to fix it.
Fortunately, the GRACE Company could not have been more prompt of nicer
on the phone…..terrific customer service that the sewing machine store could
DEFINITELY take a lesson or 2 from.
Anyway, he thinks my coax cable, or the circuit board is bad….he really
thought it was the cable, but after he heard the story of how many things have
gone wrong, he is sending another circuit board just in case…so that I don’t
have to wait again. He thought it would
arrived on Friday…we will see.
Meanwhile, BG and I finished our napkins and watched THE EXOTIC AND
BEAUTIFUL MARIGOLD HOTEL and I stitched on the new tiny size of tumbling blocks
until bed.
