roses

I don’t know where the weekend went!  Saturday and Sunday (5/11 & 12) were filled with golfing (Michael had an 83!) and cleaning and knitting and TV watching.  We finally broke out one of our Bogey & Bacall movies last night (Michael got me a set for Christmas) and watched TO HAVE AND HAVE NOT.  What a great on and off screen romance!

Our rose bush has totally burst into bloom:

 

I know it’s hard to see the blooms against the house, but they are such a beautiful pink, I decided to get some close-ups of different roses:

 

 

Rachel and Dana (Jan’s granddaughters) came over for a bit in the afternoon to show off the purse that Rachel had completed for her mom…it was beautiful.
