I had a nice long chat Friday morning (5/10) with Janice before leaving with Michael for a chiro (chiropractic) appointment.  We hit WALMART afterwards and picked up interfacing for Jan/Rachel, then dropped it off before heading home.  We got some of our plants planted (mint, sage, parsley) and also started another rosemary plant.  You remember, our rosemary grew to 6 feet across and 3 feet wide?  Well, this is how it started out: 

We are going to try again and try to keep it a bit smaller!  Our roses are coming in quite nicely too…we lost one bush over the winter, but the other 2 seem to be doing fine:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I spent the afternoon continuing to cut out squares for the new signature quilt.  At 6 PM we met Jan and Walt and Rachel (their granddaughter) up at the gold club for dinner, and we relaxed and knit and watched TV in the evening.
