7/10 We’re baa-ack!!! After 24 LONG hours in airports and in the
air, Paula picked us up at the Charlotte airport and drove us home Tuesday
night around 11 PM. Anne was waiting for
us…with clean sheets on the bed, 3 weeks of mail all sorted, and a perfectly clean
house!!! I don’t know what we would have
done without her!!
Today
will be all about unpacking, laundry, getting in groceries….and in general
getting back to our regularly scheduled lives.
I do have a meeting at the Lake House from 10 – NOON, and (thanks to
Paula) a hair appointment in the later afternoon. Other than that I’m sure we’ll take a couple
of naps along the way…it is so very good to be home!
And
in good news, after 3 weeks of unadulterated eating, with desserts at lunch AND
dinner each night….I only gained POINT 2 pounds…WHOO HOO!!
So VERY GLAD you and Michael are home safe and sound. Looking forward to your trip journal in the days to come, but first, relax.
