Monday,
August 31st – where has the summer gone? I can’t believe this is the last day of
August….seems like summer just FLEW by and now we’re on a speeding train
leading up to all of the things I like to do for the holiday season!! Anyway, Michael left at 8 for golf at Stonebridge
, while I headed to the studio to continue doing what I like best…..piecing/quilting…with
some embroidery thrown in:
Michael was
home at 2 (pleased with his score of 88) and we headed off to another doctor’s
appointment. When we went last Friday, a
new doctor scheduled Michael for a surgical procedure, but we wanted a second
opinion. When we went today, our regular
doctor thought there had been a mistake and that everything was fine…we were
VERY relieved and decided to celebrate and buy ice cream on the way home. Michael made the second half of the orange
chicken for dinner, while I finally got more tomatoes (Loree & Reg have
been very generous this year with their produce) into the crockpot for an overnight
cook.
We had our ice cream for dessert a
bit later in the evening….all in all a very good day.
