Michael
left early for an ear appointment on Friday morning (9/4), while I spent the
morning and early afternoon in my studio.
I finally got the last 2 animal embroideries sewn together into 2 small
quilt tops for Clinton School (note these are set on point):
Then I
headed upstairs to get started on dinner.
I made 2 quiches (one sauteed mushroom & spinach and one caramelized onion
and broccoli) and put together dough for Japanese Milk Rolls. Ann Mary & Jim
and Gale & Phil
showed
up at 6 and we had the quiche and rolls along with a fruit salad.
Since it was kind of a breakfast kind of
dinner, we served mimosas along with the wine that people brought.
After dinner we moved into the living room
and chatted for several more hours until everyone headed for home. It was a nice and relaxing evening.
