Wednesday
(6/12) was full of meetings! At 9 AM I
got signed up for supplemental insurance for MEDICARE….I still have to get drug
coverage. From 10 – NOON was a committee
meeting on the guest pass policy here at SCCL.
And then at 2 PM, Michael and I both had eye appointments. We stopped at Triple A on the way home to put
in an order for French Polynesian money, and at CVS to pick up a few
prescriptions. The best part of the day
was when we got home to this:
I
made ONE POT PASTA for dinner and we were lucky that Paula could come down and
join us!
Janice and I headed to the
studio after dinner and sewed for quite awhile before retiring to the lanair
for a bit of wine, a bit of enjoying the softly falling rain, and lots and lots
of bonding!
Another
one of my Quilts of Valor was given out to someone in our local VFW:
Dave (on the far right) is a Chief Master Sergeant in the US Air Force. He has served his
country for over 20 years and now is serving in the Honor Guard giving Veterans
their earned right of a Military Funeral.
