I found a computer on the ship....but much more importantly, a FULL keyboard, so I thought I'd send you all a message.

We are currently heading for a new/distant destination to see the eclipse.  Our original position would have put us in seas with 15 - 20 foot waves...something this small ship couldn't handle (thank goodness...can you say Poseidon Adventure!!!)  The sea is still very choppy, but other than walking everywhere like drunken sailors, we are fine.

New position in south Pacific will also give us about 30 seconds more of totality  (YAY!!)

The eclipse will be on Tuesday, July 2nd, in the morning.  You are 6 hours ahead of us here...could you all please do us a favor?  When you get up Tuesday morning, please start praying for clear skies for us for that day.  By 3 PM your time, the eclipse will be over....but until then, any prayers you would be willing to do would be appreciated.

That's it until we get home on Tuesday, the 9th.

thanks, Deb Devo
