Joanne and I left early Tuesday morning (12/23), and we were both pleasantly surprised at how empty the stores were (Kohl’s, BB&B, World Market & Joann’s).  We were in and out of each quickly and were home just after 11, with everything on our lists.  Michael came home shortly afterwards from his own errands and we packed up bunches of food/drink treats and headed off to deliver everything.  That took a couple of hours and we both relaxed once we got home.  Michael was playing pool while I was trying to clean up my sewing area, and we actually played a game together (I am terrible!)  We had a yummy pasta/sauce/cheese casserole for dinner and watched SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD in the evening (a library DVD).  It was an interesting and ultimately good movie.  We also finally finished watching the special effects disk for STAR WARS before falling into bed.
