hydrangeas, zinnias, cupcakes

Michael and I headed out on Friday (10/14) at 9AM and didn’t get home until 2:30!!!  He had an loo-o-o-ong eye appointment, and we went out to lunch afterwards.  He picked flowers when we got home…maybe our last hydrangea bloom, but it’s a great & large one:  

and of course, more zinnias…the flowers that keep on giving: 

I read a bit in the afternoon, then made 24 chocolate cupcakes before settling in to sewing for a bit.  I got all of my baby blocks sewn into rows…now to get the rows sewn together.  We had leftovers for dinner, then watched TV until 9:30 when I finally hopped up and made icing and got the cupcakes all iced while Michael sprinkled them with jimmies. 

Michael will be home tomorrow morning and will deliver the cupcakes up to the Lake House to be sold as a fund raiser while the craft fair is going on.
