We slept in until almost 7:30 Tuesday morning
(4/7). We had breakfast together ( a
very rare weekday occurrence) and then Michael left with mask on and
disinfectant wipes at the ready for a variety of visits: the bike shop, CVS,
liquor store, ALDI’s, LOWE’s. I spent
the morning and early afternoon working on my second set of masks, with my sweet babies for company:
Michael got additional cording for me at LOWE’s,
so when he got home I got the casing made and with his help got them all
threaded (that was a nightmare…cording was way fat, but hey, it’s what we could
find now):
We took off before dinner and
got them all delivered (36 masks delivered….YAY)!!! I feel exhausted! We spent the night doing some well deserved
relaxing :~).
Think about this: have you heard ONE word of
compassion from the White House during this crisis? Have you heard ONE word of praise for the
people on the front lines…in critical jobs…during their best under difficult
circumstances? On the other hand, HOW
MANY TIMES have you heard self praise and self congratulations
and continuing harassment of the media because they are not praising first
before asking questions????? Is this how
you want your leader to act? No spin, no
fake news, just listen to what Trump actually says.
