After having breakfast on the lanair Tuesday
morning (10/9), Michael took off for errands (CVS, Salon Salon, Harris Teeter, Southern Spirits, Best Buy, Dick’s,
BJ’s, Papa Murphy and Aldi’s. He was
gone about 3 hours!), but not before picking 2 more beautiful bouquets of hydrangeas, one for us and one for Ann Mary & Jim:
BG and I made
another new recipe, ham/egg muffin cups and had some of those with
strawberries:
before heading out to the garage to make lavender/vanilla
soap. BG’s expertise and experience with
soap far exceeds mine since she has started her soap business in Connecticut and is supplying
stores far and wide, so I can’t wait to unmold it tomorrow.
Around 2 PM we headed to the studio and I
worked on Paula’s quilt and finally finished it:
while BG (and a friend) tried to figure out how to read a kumihimo
pattern :~):
Anne came over in the
afternoon
such a fickle furry little girl! |
to bring us eggs and chocolate dipped caramels and CBD balm, and we
talked for quite awhile.
Michael had
picked up a stuffed pizza and that’s what we had for dinner:
then we called Anne and
met her at the Lake House for a tour of the quilt exhibit that is hung up along
the walking track. So many really nice
quilts….all from the SCCL quilters.
When
we got home, we sat out on the lanair for the rest of the evening, talking and looking
up quilting and beading patterns :~).
And Mary Jo, this video is just for you (make sure your sound is turned on :~):
YUK YUK YUK!!
