While
I was up early on Sunday (1/13) baking cookies for a memorial service at the
Lake House where the Volunteer club is providing refreshments:

was outside getting pictures of the additional daffodils that have popped up:
When
the cookies were finished, I headed downstairs to continue appliquéing. I got one block done:
and
started to work on 12 candy cane blocks.
It took all day and most of the night, but finally they were done:
I
got to spend a little time snuggling on the couch with my honey before bed.
