dining al fresco, Elsie

Sunday morning (8/25) we both took a bike ride, then it was pecan studded pancakes out on the deck:

I headed downstairs after breakfast and worked until around 3 on Halloween coasters J.  I came upstairs then and put 2 pizzas together with the last of our summer tomatoes and Jan and Walt arrived at 5:30.  We all enjoyed dinner…but even though Jan brought warm chocolate chip cookies for dessert….we all headed to the newly opened Baskin/Robbins for some ice cream.  After that it was knitting and TV until bedtime.
