a productive day in Connecticut

Guess what?  The chocolate didn’t bother either one of us….YAY!!  We were up early, had another round of the fabulous bread….again at our sewing machines by shortly after 8 AM.  Today however was NOT a fun day for me.  The strips in my jelly roll were apparently a variety of widths (yes….I have written to the company), creating a nightmare when I was trying to match things up.  There was LOTS of un-sewing going on (aka ripping for you uninitiated folks)…
thank goodness for BG helping me to use and June's FABULOUS gift…the battery operated seam ripper!!!  Even with the fabulous ripper, it was 3 total hours of corrections…some in the morning and some in the afternoon.  Anyway, we finally got through it and by lunchtime we had this:

We stopped at 7 PM for dinner, and since we didn’t need to bake anything, we headed back to sew until 9 PM.  We were beat by then and headed to the living room to veg for a bit before bed.  Tomorrow will be a super early day.
