pizza


On Wednesday I bought 1/2 a bushel of tomatoes at the farmer’s market, and Friday morning (8/17) I was up early to make roasted tomato sauce.  I got 5 quarts done by 9:30 and then had breakfast on the deck with my honey  J.  I spent the afternoon in the studio, working on snowflakes and starting a new rope tote, while Michael was painting again with his alcohol inks.  We wanted to taste the sauce right away, so I made pizza for dinner, using 2 cups of the sauce:


I haven’t made a thick crust pizza in quite awhile and Michael really liked it. We spent the evening vegging on the couch and watching TV.
