honey cookies

Michael left early for golf (coming in later with an 84!) and after walking with Beth I read the paper and then headed up to the farmer’s market for tomatoes, peaches and a cantaloupe.  I worked most of the day on getting more breast cancer purses cut out, but in the afternoon I paused to make these honey cookies:

 

 

Michael only gave them a B-, but Susan (a neighbor) really liked them (and they were quick and easy to put together).  I’ll have to wait until Thursday to see what the quilters say.  Michael had rehearsal in the evening, and I watched TV and knit on a variety of things
