Michael took Cookie for an early morning walk on Tuesday (9/16) while I continued with packing for retreat.  Other than a wonderful visit from Nancy H in the morning (while I got Mocha Chocolate Truffle cookies made for Michael) and a hair appointment in the afternoon, packing up was the order of the day.  Jean & Jim came over at 5 and brought all of her stuff, and June was there by 5:30.  Michael left for a dinner reception for the golf tournament he is playing on Wednesday and Thursday, while June and I had meatloaf for dinner and then talked the night away.  We are ALL very excited about retreat….Jean said that Tuesday was the slowest day of her life!  No more posts for a bit…we leave at o-dark hundred Wednesday morning.
