We took one of our babies in for tooth surgery on Tuesday (5/6) morning L.  When Cookie was at the vet’s last Friday they noticed she had a broken tooth, which the vet said HAD to come out….so today’s the day.  After that, Michael left to do 7 – 8 errands and I headed to the studio to continue to work on the 3 inch block quilt.  The good news is, by the time I went to bed on Tuesday night (providing I counted correctly…please dear God yes), I only need 16 more 3 inch squares to have enough to complete all 35 blocks!

Joanne picked me up at 1 for Stitch & Chat and a little after we got home, it was time to go and retrieve Cookie from surgery.  The vet said she might be a little bit groggy and subdued (HAH!....not bloody likely J)  We gave her a little softened food for dinner, along with 2 pain pills, and headed out to dinner with Ann Mary & Jim.  There were 3 salmon orders and one burger order at dinner, then it was off to the movies to see HEAVEN IS FOR REAL.  I really like Greg Kinnear and thought he did an excellent job.  We read for just a bit when we got home before collapsing in bed.
