winter wonderland, snow, snow sculpture, Cookie & Elsie, angel appliques

We woke up Sunday morning (2/17) to a Winter Wonderland (view out our back deck): 

 

and since so many of our friends in the northeast sent us pictures of yardsticks in the snow…we decided to do the same:

 

 

I got the sandwich bread baked first thing, and we ran 1/2 a hot loaf over to our neighbors (Inez, just for you I am NOT posting another picture of this bread  J).  Michael and Cookie made a snow sculpture in the backyard:

 

then everyone congregated in the studio (some were less productive than others):

 

Michael worked on his computer for awhile, while I continued to work on my angel appliqués.  By dinnertime they were finished: 

We had a quick dinner and settled down to watch several QUANTUM LEAPS (and to knit) before bed.
