On Sunday (12/11), Jan and I hit Michael’s and Joann’s for a bit of shopping. I got to work on weaving in the afternoon, and finally cut my 2 scarves off the loom before we left for tryouts. Fort Mill Community Theatre was having tryouts for BLYTHE SPIRIT,a Noel Coward comedy. And the director of the play was the same one who did HARVEY. She said there were about 18 people trying out…unfortunately, we didn’t make it. She said the deciding factor was that we would be gone on a cruise during the first week of rehearsals (in January), when they would be doing all of the blocking L. In a way, Michael is glad because he is still exhausted from doing THE 39 STEPS.
